I am compiling an arts magazine comprised of artwork in all forms relating to or inspired by the Hostel in the Forest. Poetry, fiction, photography, sketches, and paintings are all encouraged, as well as stories of synchronistic meetings and magic moments, the-first-time-I-came-to-the-Hostel stories, essays on sustainability and ecological philosophy, and little tidbits of information that even long-time Hostel Family might not know. Our goal is to honor the artistic spirit of the Hostel and to set down a bit of our history. Deadline for submissions is the end of August, so let’s spread the word and, in the spirit of the Hostel, combine our efforts to create something beautiful.

Please message me for mailing information if you or anyone you know might be interested

Or send via E-mail to: FrontPorchReview@gmail.com

May the Forest be with You.
Namaste,
Travis

ok, i admit... i have been slacking... i sorry. I am going to just send you what I have when I get around it, that way I'm not trying to compile it all for one submission to ya... so far, I have a drawing that I made when we had Dirtfest back in the day... I can't even remember what month or year that was, but I may be able to find out through my journal writings. I will certainly try to find you some poems or writings, as well, that I wrote at the Hostel. I have so many, some more personal than others, though.
