I've been hearing alot about the fires down their. Is there anything near the hostel?

Fri, May 11, 2007 - 5:35 AMWe are posting daily updates on the Hostel site. There are five fires still burning in two adjacent counties. The closest is just south of Waycros, Sweat Farm/Big Turnaround fire and has burned over 116,500 acres. Glynn county, where the Hostel is, is under a manadatory fire ban and as recent as yesterday, two fires sprang up in that county. The weather has been pushing the main fires west and south towards the Okefenokee Swamp but the situation changes frequently... Thanks for all the concern.
